About Me

I’ve spent over a decade telling stories online, from writing sharp copy and executing digital strategies to capturing the energy of Canadian soccer.

On the professional side, I’ve worked across agencies, clubs, and brands, always staying ahead of new platforms and trends. From the early days of community management when Twitter still had a fail whale to today’s SEO, email, and social ecosystems, I’ve built a career and lifestyle on translating ideas and events into content that connects.

Outside of my 9 to 5, I continue to be part of the Canadian soccer media landscape. I’ve managed club socials, photographed national team friendlies & World Cup Qualifiers, and chronicled the game from the stands to the sidelines. My work has spanned two unfortunately folded clubs (1812 FC & Electric City), countless matchdays, and some of the sport’s biggest moments in Canada.

Now, Casey To Go is where it’s all coming together: soccer, photography, storytelling, game guides for new/current fans and the bits of life that don’t always fit neatly into one box.

Testimonials

Casey was a real asset to our team at Electric City FC. Her ability to capture the essence of matches and training through her photos and video, then convert that to usable and post-able content for our social media channels was great. She was very responsive to our social media following and always followed any direction given. I would highly recommend Casey for social media roles in the sports industry as she has a real passion for it and helped us build a solid following in our inaugural year.
— R. Jenkins, Electric City Football Club
Casey is one of the most organized and easy to work with creators I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is completely self motivated and always filled with passion which really shows through in her work. She was also extremely helpful in many areas outside of what she was initially tasked with and is a true team player.
— A. Weilgus, 1812 Football Club
